Prayers of Adoration

The following are some prayers of adoration to help you celebrate & adore who God is.

  • ”Heavenly Father, I adore You because You are the Creator of heaven and earth. You spoke, and all things came into existence.”

    Genesis 1:1 - “ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

    Psalm 33:6-9 - “The heavens were made by the word of the Lord, and all the stars, by the breath of his mouth. 7 He gathers the water of the sea into a heap; he puts the depths into storehouses. 8 Let the whole earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. 9 For he spoke, and it came into being; he commanded, and it came into existence.

  • “Jesus, I adore You for Your humility and servant heart.”

    Philippians 2:5-8, “Adopt the same attitude as that of Christ Jesus, 6 who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God as something to be exploited. 7 Instead he emptied himself by assuming the form of a servant, taking on the likeness of humanity. And when he had come as a man, 8 he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death—even to death on a cross.”

  • “Holy Spirit, I adore You for Your presence and help in my life, as promised by Jesus.”

    John 14:6 - “And I [Jesus] will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever. 17 He is the Spirit of truth. The world is unable to receive him because it doesn’t see him or know him. But you do know him, because he remains with you and will be in you.”

  • “God, may I be able to experience the depths of Your love which surpasses my understanding.”

    Ephesians 3:18-19 - "May you be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God's love, and to know Christ's love that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

  • “Jesus, You are the perfect, spotless Lamb of God who takes away my sins and sins of the whole world!”

    John 1:29 - “The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”

  • “God, I worship You because Your promises are sure and steadfast!”

    Psalm 36:5 - “Lord, your faithful love reaches to heaven, your faithfulness to the clouds.”

    Hebrews 10:23 - "Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, since he who promised is faithful.”
