How to Make a Difference TODAY

Have you ever noticed that the world can be kind of a negative place? I thought you had. It's filled with lots of ugliness, argument and dissension. We wake up to learn about the enemy or outrage of the day.

If you're eager to make a difference around you today, here's how: Choose Joy

As the Church, we're called live above this, different, set apart, holy. Check out what Paul says about this:

"Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, 'children without fault in a warped and crooked generation.'"

and what happens as the result?

"...and then you will shine among them like stars in the sky..."

If you're determined to stand out and look different to the world around you, choose joy today. Pursue unity with each other. Choose a good attitude. Choose not to speak disparagingly of others, especially when they aren't around. Do this and you, we, the church will certainly stand out.

In a world filled to the brim with grumbling, complaining, and offense, choose joy. Because when we live joyfully unified in a world filled with outrage, the world can't help but to take notice.
